Summit provided architectural design, space planning, and design development support for the proposed MMAS (Massachusetts Music and Arts Society) theater redevelopment and addition. Work included developing multiple floor plan options, designing a 180-seat black box theater with accessible seating, integrating a double-height art gallery and studio spaces, and coordinating administrative offices, conference rooms, soundproof rooms, and mezzanine storage. The design focused on improving circulation, accessibility, spatial efficiency, and the overall visitor experience while accommodating the functional needs of a multidisciplinary performing arts facility.
